From Kollwitz to Grosz, artists associated with German Expressionism in the early decades of the 20th century took up printmaking with a collective fervour, revolutionising the mediums of etching and lithography to stark effect. This show will feature 40 outstanding prints from Germany by Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Käthe Kollwitz, George Grosz and Max Beckmann.   Part of Berlin Sydney, in association with the exhibition The mad square: modernity in German art 1910-37 at the Art Gallery of NSW.
