Interview - Brett Ballard The paintings of Chris Langlois are of the sea, land and sky, but in certain respects are of no one place. Some paintings of the sea have the effect of total atmosphere; crepitating waves are subtly coloured green, with touches of violet or magenta and above the skies hang grey and torpid.
