Pan-O-Mania presents a pastiche of historic events, trends and cultural shifts.
These new works take inspiration from the post-war era of the 50's through to the early 70's with particular focus on the 'Tiki phenomenon'; a blind appropriation of Pacific culture for cashed up westerners. This cultural homage is something that I am fascinated with having my own cultural roots embedded in Polynesia.
