John Edwards has had more than 20 solo exhibitions in Australia and has been represented in the Sulman Prize AGNSW , Archibald Prize AGNSW and the Blake Prize. His paintings collage works on paper are inextricably linked to the worlds of imagination and fantasy, to a curious internal utopia. Reality exists in the artists inherent freedom to engage the power of the mind and make images that grapple with shape and line to articulate meaning.
