Stephanie describes Re Mark as a "comment on the physical impressions and indentations made on thrown cylindrical vessels. The multiple marks are made one within another to manipulate the clay surface to create an entirely new object which I indent, squeeze and puncture. The process extends the rim to the utmost extremes while still appreciating the sensual liquid, flesh-like quality of the porcelain."
