The title of the work refers to his colleague Michael Eather, with whom Onus conceived the 'Adventures of X & Ray' series. This series features an unlikely pair of travel companions: ‘X’ the stingray and ‘Ray’ the dingo, who first appeared in Onus’ paintings in the early 90’s.
