Mirrored Whispers & The Utopia Collection
Frances Keevil Gallery presents new work by Emma Hack, known for painting Gotye in the film clip for 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. Hack's latest exhibition combines two recent bodies of work, 'Utopia' and 'Mirrored Whispers'. The imagery in 'Utopia' was inspired by the artist's childhood memories of her grandmother's garden, and in 'Mirrored Whispers', floral imagery is extrapolated and stylised, with images digitally flipped to create a mirror effect.
