Amongst the Trees
In this new body of drawings and woodblock prints, Longueville artist, Ailsa Morgan, is inspired by her harbourside bushland environment and asks us to look not only at the wonderful colour and shape of the local eucalyptus trees but the abstract spaces between them. The fluid tension she observes and captures of the gnarled curvelinear trees is quite palpable in these prints and drawings.
