Each year Melbourne hosts the ‘Race That Stops A Nation’ the ‘Melbourne Cup’ and with it comes the exhibition of the history of the race and racing in Victoria in general which dates back to the gold rush days.

The exhibition is hosted at Flemington racecourse and is open for three days leading up to the Melbourne Cup carnival.

Guests can expect to see racing great Phar Lap as well as the actual Melbourne Cup trophy which will be presented to this years winner as well as racing memorabilia from the past century.
